Spitified : Part 2

07:02

Hello people!
Wishing you all a great week ahead and making you all crave for a vacation soon enough with my new post.
To those who stay put, the world is but an imaginary place. But to the movers, the makers, and the shakers, the world is all around, an endless invitation. It is a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it and I don't want to be most of us. Also, you can never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.

Key - Kibber - Chicham : We did have an itinerary in the first to explore Spiti but gave up on it on the first day itself. Knowing we had to wake up the next morning to explore some more new places, we still partied the whole night long. This is totally me and my friends. We always believe to live in the moment. Woke up, freshened up and just drove for our next places. Key gompa (monastery) also spelled as Ki, Key or Kee pronounced like English key is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4166 metres above sea level, close to the Spiti river, in the Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district, India. It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas (monks). It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855. Our next destination was Kibber village. It is situated at an altitude of 4270 metres. It contains a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. It lies in a narrow valley on the summit of a limestone rock. Moving on to the next destination, we reached Chicham. It has Asia's highest bridge called 'The Chicham Bridge'. It is situated at an altitude of 4145 metres. This a newly built bridge. Kibber used to be the highest motorable village until Komic village took the crown. Previously it used to take 2-3 hours to reach Chicham village from Kibber. But 10 years ago the local people built a ropeway which has never collapsed. It's a manual self-operated ropeway where you have to pull the rope on your own to reach the other side. The vent height of Chicahm bridge is 150 metres. All these beautiful places will remain in our heart forever. The beauty of these places cannot be explained in words. You have to visit it for yourself.

Outfit Details : As, we didn't have the luck to be welcomed by a bright sunny day, it was cold and windy throughout our trip. For the second day, it was all cloudy and drizzling all along the way to those beautiful places. It is mandatory for me to wear an all black outfit on any trip that I plan. This was the perfect day to go all black. My trusted pair of black denim from H&M along with a black printed tee and an over-sized studded black denim jacket, both from Shein.com. To break the monotony of an all black outfit but still to keep it minimal, I wore my thigh high brown boots from Forever 21. They keep you warm as well as make you look nice.

Hope you guys enjoy the second part of Spiti Valley. Also, stay tuned for the third part and some more adventure and memories that I'll be sharing with all of you.

Until next time...
xoxo
