Skirt It Out!

Hello Beautiful Readers!
We have all made it to the sixth month of the year 2016. Time just flies away and sometimes, we just sit here and wish that everything could be reversed and that we could travel back in time. But, instead of wishing for the past or the future, we should be living in the present and feel the joy of this moment. Anyway, as it's the season of marriages, parties, functions & ceremonies, unending birthdays and few interviews, I thought of styling a pencil skirt to fit the glam as well as the casual look. I also found pencil skirts to be the most appropriate and perfect for such needs. I'll be showing you guys in this post how to dress up or down a pencil skirt according to your comfort level. I also found that for any outfit to be glam or casual, you just need to change the shoes and the bag or only one of them will also do the job.
For my glam look, I wore a basic black pencil skirt. You can opt for any color you like. I paired up the skirt with a olive green turtleneck top. Okay! The story behind this top is that it was a midi dress and I just cut it into half and kept the upper half and you must have also spotted this dress in one of my earlier posts. You can always experiment with the stuff you no longer wear. For this look, I wore my comfy black mid heels and carried my black box bag with golden detailing. This completes my whole look and I'm also able to remain comfortable wherever I'm going.
For the casual look, I wore the same outfit and just changed my shoes and bag. I wore the same black pencil skirt and turtleneck top. I wore my white kicks and carried a cross-body bag across my shoulders. All the difference is made just by the change of shoes and bag in both the looks.
You can always experiment with your stuff and remain awestruck everytime by your creativity. These looks can also be created with denims, joggers, midi or maxi dresses, midi or maxi skirts, A-line skirts, culottes etc. Go ahead and share your creativity of glam to casual or day to night looks with me on Instagram (whimsicalcloset), FB (whimsicalcloset) or Snapchat (tnxn_yang).
See you all next time...
xoxo
